Andy Kerm Says Comparing Dede Ayew To Neymar Is Like Comparing Kumasi To New York City

A Kumasi-based sports journalist has shot down the idea of replicating what Carlo Ancelotti did by taking Neymar Junior to the World Cup 2026, for his last dance.

There was a wild celebration in Santos and the whole of Brazil because Neymar was called to the national team, as he is cherished by the whole country and is seen as the heir to Pele’s throne.

Some Ghanaian football lovers are urging the Ghana football association and the newly appointed coach, Carlos Queiroz, to select Andre Dede Ayew, but Andy Kerm and many others disagree.

During a live session with Code Micky, Andy was asked about Dede’s inclusion, but his answer was quite controversial and has generated a wide conversation on the internet.

According to the sports pundit, Dede Ayew has not had an iconic performance at the World Cup since 2010, so there is no need to take him along.

He said when you talk about Cristiano Ronaldo, you can talk about his hat-trick against Spain in 2018, Russia, and with Lionel Messi, the young players like Alvarez will shield him with their efforts, but Andre’s inclusions will worsen Ghana’s situation.
