2-Time Artist of the Year, Black Sherif, believes he will be the 2-time artist of the year omen and win his third one in the coming years.
For decades now, no artist has been able to win the Ghana Music Awards, Artist of The Year more than 2 but the young star is positive about breaking that record by winning his third.

The artist below has won the ultimate twice and has yet to win their third ever since their second.

- V.I.P – 2004,2011
- Sarkodie – 2010,2012
- Stonebwoy – 2015, 2024
The last addition to this spectacular class is Black Sherif. He won his first in 2023 and his second in 2026.

As it’s the norm, every winner of this particular award makes their first media appearance on their broadcast partner’s mid-morning show, TV3.

Cookie Tee, the host, asked Blacko if he would set a record by winning another AOTY, which looks unrealistic because every other winner is stuck at 2 or 1.

His reply was concise. The entertainer believes that with hard work and consistency, he will definitely win Artist of The Year in the coming years.
