Ghanaian Actor, Yaw Dabo, has vehemently criticised the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority for how they are dealing with drivers with unwarranted or expired registration numbers.

Though he commended the authority for this excellent initiative to ensure there is sanity on the road, he also expressed his displeasure with their way of executing their plan.

Yaw Dabo exposes the DVLA for their inability to set a standard fee for the registration of cars, so most car owners resort to using unwarranted means to drive on the roads.

According to the actor, workers at the DVLA are only open to the highest bidder since there is no fixed registration fee, so the availability and registration of cars solely depend on the car owner’s wallet.

He said this has chased drivers away from their offices.

Ending his grievance, Dabo informed the Licensing Authority to avoid chasing drivers with cameras and take them to the office for instant registration because they are not criminals.
