Black Sherif Discloses His First Pay As A Musician

The reigning artist of the year, Black Sehrif, has shared his first experience of getting paid after a performance.

On 3 Fm with A.J. Sarpong, the singer was asked to mention the amount of money he had been paid for the first time in his career.

Most event organisers decide to use and dump up-and-coming artists, but this one decided to appreciate Sherif for his amazing performance.

According to the Pop Star, he was paid 50 Cedis in 2019 after a show at Ejisu, Ashanti Region, in December.

Blacko disclosed he had dropped 2 songs which were popular in Konongo (where he grew up), Accra, and Kumasi.

The songs, “CRY FOR ME” and “MARIANA,” were viral on the internet as his voice was magical, and the music was not just words but a strong message.

Explaining how he felt that time, the entertainer called his boys to a nearby hotel to go and swim as a sign of celebration.

Narrating the humble beginning of his music journey made him appreciate how far he has come. He acknowledged the fact that the organiser was appreciative and did not make him work in vain as a young artist.
